Artist statement: As a professional illustrator and fine artist, my focus has been on the figure – the incredible beauty, elegance and grace of the human form. I have also enjoyed capturing a wide range of emotions in my illustrations and have illustrated books and stories that deal with serious sensitive issues as well as the humorous and whimsical. I love to convey a sense of movement and have been able to illustrate many stories and poems about sports.
